What do you want from me?
What have you not taken from me?
Is it not enough?
That i suffer in your eyes
Is it not enough?
That i find no peace in this air
What more do you want
Take it and let me be
Take it and let me breathe
Take it i say, take it
How easy the words spring from you
How meticulous they roll out
It’s all absurd, this life
Look at you in your voracity
It robbed you of humanity
Look at yourself in sweaty palms
Never drying from endless spasm
A thousand folded notes of promise
A bright future and complete demise
A minute of bloodshed for better life
I have known no peace in daylight
The continuous whirling of sirens
The blood in my veins suddenly freeze
It is the ambulance rushing to save life
A face sticks out from the ER door
It resembles your face, like a scare crow
Then the eyes, round like a tennis ball
Your sweaty palms pressing on the screen
Your mouth wide open, chanting something
My name maybe or a cry for help
Oh no, that was not me at all
That must be the lady before me
You knocked her on the highway
Ah, surprised. I expect it
In my world we see things
Things humans cannot see
Betrayal under the heat of the sun
Treachery in the darkest hours of night
We see blood... tears... blood... sweat
We see fear... we see penitence
Stop just stop
Why did you come back?
To haunt me, to torment me
Does it make you happy?
Does it satisfy your ego?
You and your world see nothing
You and your world know nothing
I did this for you, for us, our children
I did this for the sake of everyone
Oh you flatter yourself
And falter anything for wealth
You rip yourself of your soul
Shedding innocent blood for your soul
For the satisfaction of your SOUL
Deceive yourself no more
Speak that the world hears
Let them know of the long nights
Covered in whispers of the soul
Souls crying for help, deprived
I see no time for such indulgence
I will be gone by the time they come
I will save them the pain of the truth
They will never have to hear of me
My soul will rest its last
No more deafening sounds of sirens
There will be no stories of long nights
Or maybe there will be a little
But i will not be there to see
I will never be there to hear the cries
I used to think sheep was a foolish creature
And when i met you i thought maybe...
Just maybe you are yet to be discovered
Your shame will follow you down this cliff
Our guilt will tag along to your grave
And your scourge will cling to your generation
They will open mouths filled with foam
It will gag their speech for eternity
And you will watch from hell fire
Listening to the cries of whispering souls...
Does a man ever put justice on himself?
Can a man not prescribe his own penalty?
Your voice buzzes like a bee in my ear
“Don’t let me die! Have mercy on me”
I could do nothing but watch
They made me watch every burning fragment
The chars lingering in my nostrils
I still see your gorged eyes
Your strained voice fading away
No man can live with such guilt
It shreds you into parts
That makes me happy
It extols the specs of happiness you have
That gives me satisfaction
But the people, the ones you robbed
Peace and happiness they can never recover
That pricks the pinnacle of my heart
The whispering souls whose voices fade in fires
The fearful souls whose brevity killed them
You still have a chance to make it right
None of this will ever be made right
I prefer the pain of the hard stones
And scattered glass that will break my skull
If i never said i was sorry
I will say it in the next world
For i know we will meet
Your own sin will ensure we do
And if you ever come again
Let them know cowardice killed me
Let them know shame besieged me
It is said that when you kill with a sword
The same sword serves you with justice
Whispering souls cloud the citadel of life
Clasping at the straws of integrity
Falling back with huge thuds
For they will never know freedom
Their descendants wail when the sun rises
And still mourn at the wake of the moon
If only river waters could wash pain away
There would never be any in the world
